Thank you for choosing Al Ain Juniors! Please note that as one of the most popular schools in the city we have very limited numbers of places available so we do encourage you to start the admissions process as early as possible.

Online Admissions for British System, New Academic Year 2018 - 2019

Al Ain Juniors School is pleased to announce the opening of admissions for the new academic year 2018-2019.We are currently enrolling children from KG1 to Grade 12. The admissions are done online from our school website. The dates of the admissions for the different categories are as follows.

Admission Procedure

1. Please go to school website www.alainjuniors.com
2. Click on “British System Admissions” on the home page (This link will be enabled as per announced admission dates)
3. You will be re-directed to the Login Screen before filling the Online Admission Request Form
4. New Parents will click on "New Parent" tab and Register for the admissions using Email address and by setting a password
5. Automatic EMAIL: You will receive a Registration Confirmation
6. Existing Parents will login using their Username and Password that will be shared with you via SMS.
7. Log on to the admissions portal using the credentials.
8. After completing the form, click on the check-box after reading the Indemnity and Declaration Click on "Submit" 

Finally, Automatic EMAIL: Application Acknowledgement will be sent.

 

 

 

Baseline Assessment:

Your child will be invited to a baseline assessment/interview session at the school where they will take part in age appropriate activities designed so that we can understand your child more fully. These sessions are usually held with a small group of children.

Whilst your child is being assessed, our team will be happy to answer any questions that you may have. We will confirm whether we are able to offer your child a place at the earliest once the education team has conducted a full review of the baseline assessment/interview.

 

Waiting log

Online Admission Enquiry Form (OAEF) will be converted into the waiting log if there are no seats available at the time of admission.

Age rule from ADEK

Please take note of the age rule directive from ADEC as follows:

Grade   Age rule as on 31st December 2018
Junior KG   4 years
Senior KG   5 years
Grade 1   6 years

 

Admission will be granted on the following conditions:

•  Siblings are given a priority
•  Strict compliance to school’s policies and agreement to regular payment
•  Baseline Assessment results of the applicant will be considered
•  Students with complete documents will be first considered
•  Admission will only be confirmed upon payment of the registration fee
•  Admission will not be given for siblings of fee defaulters and irregular fee payers
•  Siblings of students with good academic and behavioral record will be considered
•  Parents agree that admission automatically entails consent on the fee payment policy & transport policy of the school
•  Admission cannot be provided to Buraimi residents, holding Oman visa due to legal restrictions as Emirates ID is a mandatory document
•  Decision of the Principal remains final


Documents required
1. Student’s passport copy with visa page.
2. Father’s (Sponsor’s) passport copy with visa page.
3. 4 passport size photographs of the student.
4. Copy of Birth certificate, attested from: ( of not issued in UAE)
• Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country from where the certificate is issued.
• UAE Embassy or Consulate in the country from where the certificate is issued.
• Countersigned by Ministry of Foreign Affairs in UAE.
5. Immunization (Vaccination) card.
6. Emirates ID of student and sponsor.
7. Proof of Student’s Residential Address (Provide Water & Electricity Bill or House renting or ownership contract or correct location as Plot No, Road no (for Al Ain), Sector (community), Zone (or District for Al Ain) or provide your residence GPS coordinates.
8. Financial clearance letter from the school of transfer, if the student from within UAE.
9. Statement of Marks/Report card for Grade2 and above.
10. Original Transfer Certificate (TC) attested from:
• Ministry of Education or the Education Office in the country from where the certificate is issued.
• Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country from where the certificate is issued.
• UAE Embassy or Consulate in the country from where the certificate is issued.
• Countersigned by Ministry of Foreign Affairs in UAE.

Info on CD required

Specifications:

1. CD should be labeled with child’s name and grade applied.
2. All original colored documents listed above should be scanned separately and copied onto the CD as separate files.
3. Documents should be in JPG format and should be less than 1MB in size.
4. To comply with the Ministry of Education (ADEC)’s guidance, a Transfer Certificate and a Health Certificate are required before your child starts at Al Ain Junior
