Chairman
Mr. Arshad Ahmed Sharief
One of the founding members and the primary investor in the AJ Group, Mr. Arshad Ahmed Sharief is an engineer by qualification and profession. Originally from Bangalore, India, he moved to the UAE in 1981 when it was still a fledgling country. He has worked for about 30 long years initially in the Water & Electricity Dept, (WED) and later in TRANSCO, Al Ain, heading various large scale projects in Water section for the government of Abu Dhabi till 2009 when he retired. His vast experience and keenness to serve in the field of education has resulted in the success of schools under the AJ Group.
Owner / Local Partner
Mr. Khamis Obaid Al Dhahery
Mr. Khamis Obaid Al Dhaheri is the official Owner / local partner of Al Ain Juniors School, Al Ain Juniors Nursery and Focal Point Management Consultancy. A post graduate from U.S.A he served in WED for many years before becoming an entrepreneur and currently owns many businesses in UAE. Mr. Khamis provides valuable support and a strategic insight into the running & development of the AJ group institutions.
Managing Director
Mrs. Tanveer Arshad
Mrs. Tanveer Arshad is the founder of Al Ain Juniors Nursery in the year 1989 which expanded into Al Ain Juniors School of which she served as the founder Principal for 25 years. Mrs. Arshad currently holds the position of Managing Director of the group. A driving force behind the success of the various institutions under AJ Group, she has been a passionate educationist with a conviction that innovation and engagement can pave the way for quality education and learning. Her excellent leadership skills, creativity and unique ability to convert her dreams into reality is what keeps AJ on the move constantly raising the bar in achieving excellence.
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Zahid Sarosh
Mr. Zahid Sarosh completed his higher education in Computer Science from University of Houston, Texas and worked in the U.S for a decade and then moved to Oman for a few years to take up the post of Country Manager for a major oil firm. He returned to UAE in 2008 to join the family venture in the field of education. He was instrumental in restructuring the AJ Group of Schools and worked in uplifting the schools to achieve high standards in education and governance. His professional and management background are assets in helping the AJ Group attain higher levels of productivity and operational excellence.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Mitesh Shah
Mr. Mitesh Shah with an MBA in Finance has a vast experience covering India, Africa and the U.S.A across various sectors, He joined the AJ Group in 2008 and has worked towards establishing comprehensive accounting, budgeting and purchase systems for the entire group. His expertise in financial analysis and processes has made a very positive impact on the effective financial management of all institutions under the group.
