Story Telling Competition Grade 6 - 2019

A small story telling competition was held on 16th May’ 2019 in the students’ respective classrooms.
Students were pre- informed to prepare their stories by choosing them or creating themselves. All the students of grade 5 and 6 prepared well. Some of them chose various props for narrating their interesting stories.
THE MAIN OBJECTIVES
The key objectives of the competition are:
1. Inculcating moral values in students through various stories (one of the criteria for participation)
2. The development of the students’ imagination.
3. Increase the confidence among students to face the audience.
4. Development of communication skills.
5. Develop a positive attitude towards books and Reading.
6. Build correct concepts of objects and form new ideas.
7. Development of listening skills.
REWARDS
Certificates will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position holders from each grade.
Star cards will be given to all the participants who narrated the stories.
Most students participated enthusiastically and all the students proved themselves being good Listeners. It was a successful event.
